Cleaner air starts with the system behind the walls
Dust, pet hair, debris and lint build up inside ductwork and dryer vents. The EPA does not recommend routine duct cleaning, only when there is a reason such as visible mold, pests or heavy debris. Dryer vents are different: fire safety groups recommend clearing lint about once a year.
